Cécile and Sébastien decided to fly a handful of their closest friends and family from the South of France to New York to get married in central park! I love shooting smaller events because there’s a lot less to worry about, and everyone just enjoys the moment. I definitely made some new friends during the day despite our sometimes language barriers.
After the ceremony in the women’s pavilion in central park, we walked around times square and shot some photos. We stumbled onto a really rad art project called Inside Out. The bride and groom got to cut in line, and a few minutes later they were wheat-pasted onto one of the busiest sidewalks in the world.
Later that night we all had dinner at Public, and it was seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I tried to say “felicitacions” but they made me drink too much wine, and it came out weird. At least everyone got a laugh out of that one. I stuck around for a few days afterwards and hung out in Brooklyn. It was really a great 1st wedding of the season!
Brilliant, Sean!!
Love the processing! Very film like. Is it VSCO or real film?
Very cool. I really like your documentary style.
Very good pictures, all those was shot with one lens? 35mm? :)
Cinematic!
Gorgeous, love the color!
Great photos. Color variations are awesome.
The idea of taking the shots on the street is really great! very casual but yet elegant and formal.
Love the little moments you captured!
Your images make me feel like I am with the couple at their event. You have such a personal feel to your work. I love it.
The light. The color. Beautiful! You should be proud of this!
